THE 2018 GOOD BEER GUIDE ENTRIES ARE NOW LISTED ON THE BRANCH AWARDS PAGE AND WILL BE INCLUDED IN THE NEXT UPDATED EDITION OF THE RELEVANT GUIDE.



COCKERMOUTH - October Edition published. Spotted Pig reported as having no Real Ale - being checked.


BORDERING COCKERMOUTH - Old Posting House, Deanscales recently refurbished. Now has three handpumps.                                                 Will be re-surveyed for currency.


KESWICK - July Edition published.


OUTER KESWICK - July Edition published.


MARYPORT, ASPATRIA & SOLWAY COAST - Phoenix Tap, Maryport, Last Man Inn, Plumbland and Old Mill

                                                                               Inn, Dearham to be removed. No longer serving Real Ale.


WORKINGTON AREA - The CONSERVATIVE CLUB is apparently open to visitors, who can be signed in. They are looking for an alternative to their lost Yates. Premises be included in the next edition of the Guide. The COMMERCIAL has been sold by Marstons. Currently closed for refurbishment by new owner. May have a name change. The WELL is no longer serving Real Ale.


WHITEHAVEN - July Edition published.


A595 HENSINGHAM TO GOSFORTH - Richmond, Hensingham is currently closed. Bar at the Blackbeck Hotel,                                                        Beckermet understood not to open on Saturdays and Sundays
